Difference Between Mean Median and Mode with Example | TIRLA ACADEMY

Mean is the average of given data while the median is the middle term of the data but data should be in ascending order and mode is the value in the data with maximum frequency.

Example:-

Q- We have data 1, 2, 3, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11.

Solve:-

Mean=(1+2+3+3+5+6+7+8+9+10+11)÷11

 =65÷11 = 5.90

Median=6 (Middle Term)

Mode=3 (Max. Frequency)
