How To Find Radius From Circumference of A Sphere? | TIRLA ACADEMY

Radius of Sphere = Circumference of Sphere÷2𝜋

Let's take an example to understand-

Q- Find the radius of a sphere if its circumference is 22m long.

Solve:

Circumference = 22m

Radius of Sphere = Circumference of Sphere÷2𝜋

= 22÷2𝜋

= 11÷𝜋

= 11÷3.14

= 3.50 (approx)

The radius of a sphere=3.50m (approx).
