Equivalent fractions are two or more fractions that may have different numerators or denominators but their lowest value are the same. Equivalent fractions examples are 1/2, 2/4, 3/6, etc.

How to find equivalent fractions by multiplication?

To find the equivalent fraction by multiplication we will multiply the same number into the numerator and the denominator.

For example, we will multiply by 2,3, and 4 in the numerator and denominator to get the Equivalent fraction of 1/3. Then the equivalent fraction of 1/3 will be 2/6, 3/9, 4/12.

Other examples of Equivalent Fractions:
Equivalent fraction of 2/3 is 4/6, 6/9, 8/12, etc.
Equivalent fraction of 2/5 is 4/10, 6/15, 8/20, etc.
