There are mainly three types of equations in maths that we study in class 9th maths-

Types of Equations :

Equation whose higher power of the variable is 1 then the equation is known as Linear Equation.

Equation whose higher power of the variable is 2 then the equation is known as Quadratic Equation.

Equation whose higher power of the variable is 3 then the equation is known as Cubic Equation.
